— Build a simple yet comfortable home is the dream of many families. A
real-life example comes from an OFW from Hong Kong who managed to
realize his dream home with a budget of around 100K. Although still in
the finishing stages, this is already livable, functional, and very inspiring for other small families. Let’s check out OFW House that Low Budget.
House facade

Measuring
18 x 24 ft (approximately 40 sqm), this house features a simple
concrete (hollow block) facade. Sliding glass windows allow maximum
natural lighting, while the modern sloping roof gives a sturdy yet
cost-effective impression. Although not 100% complete, the exterior of
the house already looks neat and comfortable.
Living room

Inside
the house, the living room has a simple look with smooth cement walls
(unfinished). Even so, the use of simple wooden furniture gives it a
warm and functional feel. This concept proves that even a simple house
can feel homey without spending a lot of money.
Kitchen

The
kitchen is designed in a practical and efficient L-shape, making good
use of the corner of the room. The glossy black granite countertop is
not only elegant but also easy to clean. Additional shelves can be added
to expand storage space and keep the kitchen tidy.
2 Bedrooms

This
house has 2 bedrooms, suitable for a small family. The master bedroom
is equipped with ceramic flooring, which makes the room feel cleaner and
more comfortable. The large windows in the room also add air
circulation and natural lighting, making the room feel fresher.
Bathroom

Despite
its small size, this bathroom is quite complete and comfortable for
everyday needs. There is a shower area, bidet, small sink, and mirror.
Part of the wall is covered with half-height ceramic tiles, which not
only enhance the appearance but also help maintain humidity so that the
bathroom stays dry.
